Business need:
United States Government has more than 300 agencies sending active request for proposals in Information technology on a daily basis. Many companies big and small cannot bid for these opportunities as they just don’t have resources to respond to these opportunities.
- A portal which helps people to write these proposals was thought of with following features.
- Help people to find the outline as well as supporting documents to start writing proposal for each RFP of the government agency
- Have a payment gateway integrated to the portal so that the users’ could easily search the opportunity of their choice and pay online for easy download and further use the document.
- Have a Content management backend for the portal administrators to easily add Opportunities into the portal, see the search statistics of the normal users etc
- Solution:
The proposed solution was to:
- Develop a portal for users to search active opportunities.
- The search feature would allow searching for a Opportunity Number, a keyword or a agency as well as with a filter of all.
- The search would result in all the active opportunities with the users having an option to Buy the different types of document under an opportunity.
- With an empty search result, the Admin would be intimated of the same as well the user would be given a choice to track this opportunity under the user’s email address such that , as and when this opportunity is added to the portal by an administrator, and automatic emails goes to the user intimating the same.

- The centralised repository of opportunities helps in active tracking and searching.

- Portal Administration
- The Administrators are given an easy to use back-end functionality where in opportunities could be added with ease.
- A complete statistics report allows the Administrator to see the no. of active downloads happened and the sales figures up to date.

- Online - Shop within shops
Business need:
A popular store in Germany who is in the business of selling artefacts for more than 25 years wanted to have an extensive customer order processing module for the people who trade with them online or directly from the physical shop. The current software they had deals only till the payment cycle and nothing beyond it. The new version had to do the following functions:
- This web shop would be a Shop within Shop solutions. There would be several Shops within the Application.
- Depending on the shop the user chooses, the products for that shop alone would be listed and processed.
- Take the orders from the online shop or shop terminal
- Deal with available stock and backorders based on each Shop.
- Generate delivery notes, invoices, supporting documents for pickup and delivery(shipping)
